Amazon Web Services in APJ delivers outcomes for some of the most innovative and exciting customers in the world. We are seeking a Field Enablement Lead to effectively deliver enablement programs for our SUP Organisation, equiping them to better serve customers and continue to grow the business. This role encompasses both designing enablement plans that will accelerate field skills, while also tactically implementing programs individually and/or in concert with cross-functional team members.
The successful candidate will combine a solid understanding of technology sales and marketing dynamics, keen eye for detail, and the ability to synthesize vast information while making it usable amongst a diverse sales audience. They will ideally have strong knowledge in adult learning principles and/or adult education and have a true passion for finishing the day knowing they've helped others succeed.
This individual will work closely with the Worldwide Field Enablement Team, the Industry sales teams, and other cross-functional leads, examining existing business practices while identifying new initiatives that would result in time-savings and increased sales effectiveness. Examples of the projects that will be driven by this individual include developing business enablement resources for specific sales verticals, supporting go-to-market motions, executing onboarding and driving ongoing learning efforts, while supporting programs that ultimately enable account teams to accelerate sales pipelines.
Experience with AI technologies and implementing related enablement programs is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in modern sales methodologies, with demonstrated success in driving adoption of customer-centric approaches that build strategic partnerships and deliver measurable business outcomes. They should excel at aligning technology solutions with customer missions while enhancing overall sales effectiveness.
In this role, you will have an opportunity to combine a passion for problem solving, coaching, and enthusiasm for technology, to drive learning outcomes and establish positive customer relationships with new and tenured sales employees. You will also work closely with cross functional stakeholders (Sales Leadership, Business Operations, Lead Development Representatives, Project Managers, Worldwide Field Enablement) to discover and meet the objectives of the organization.
This individual must have 5+ years of a combination of relevant experience serving sales and business development organizations and project management experience in addition to strong written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional presentation skills will be an advantage in this role. Experience within organizations supporting sales, technical sales, or direct sales experience is highly preferred.
