JOB TITLE: Fabrication Process Developer

REPORTS TO: Shift Team Lead

SHIFT DAYS /HOURS: (Mon-Friday) 5:00 am- 1:00 pm; Must be willing and able to work Mandatory OT on off days as necessary.

STARTING PAY: $34.23 per hour with the opportunity to earn more.

What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Must be able to create and revise CNC programming (Print to Part Manufacturing).
  • Must be able to use Manual machinery to make parts from Prints.
  • Must be able to assist Engineering in developing machining processes.
  • Must be able to develop quality checks for new and existing parts.
  • Must be able to develop and create SOPs/work instructions.
  • Must have technical degree/equivalent work experience.

Work Environment / Physical Demands:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud and always without air conditioning.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be able to read and understand shop orders.
  • Must be able to read and understand tape measures.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to use banding equipment, air nail gun, and wood saw.
  • Must be able to read and understand Bonnell shop orders.
  • Must be able to understand decimals, fractions, and tolerances.
  • Must be able to use various quality gauges.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic math skills
