The Marketing Analyst oversees all commercial inputs of business forecasting and planning, including data retrieval, analysis, and the development of market-positioning strategies that support the company’s growth objectives. This role is also responsible for establishing optimal product and service pricing by evaluating market trends, competitor data, and internal cost structures to maximize profitability.

The position transforms data into actionable insights by managing business and market intelligence, forecasting customer demand, generating market-share reporting, and guiding pricing strategies to maintain market competitiveness and support financial performance. The Marketing Analyst collaborates closely with finance, sales, and operations to ensure recommendations align with market levels and production capabilities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Develop forecasting models, perform market-share analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to refine business strategies.

  • Analyze sales trends, customer sales volume, and market data to identify strategic opportunities.

  • Establish and maintain pricing guidelines by assessing customer pricing data, competitor activity, and production costs.

  • Lead pricing-change operations and implementation.

  • Monitor competitor pricing, industry trends, and economic indicators affecting operational costs.

  • Evaluate the financial impact of pricing strategies on profitability.

  • Design and manage pricing models and discount programs.

  • Prepare reports and dashboards to communicate market and pricing performance to leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, database management, and automation.

  • Expertise in statistical analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, and data visualization tools.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convert technical data into clear business guidance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance, economics, or statistics.

  • Minimum five years of experience in business analysis or a related field.

  • Experience producing company metrics for publicly traded company filings.

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Experience leading projects and managing direct reports.

    Proficiency in documentation, reporting, presentations, market research, and statistical analysis.
