Shift: 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7:00a-3:30p What You’ll Be Doing Perform metalworking tasks such as grinding, sanding, blending, deburring, polishing, and surface preparationUse hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to repair or prepare aerospace componentsRead and follow work instructions, job routers, specifications, and safety proceduresInspect parts during the repair process to ensure quality and workmanship standards are metHandle parts carefully to prevent damage and maintain proper part identificationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaSupport production goals by working efficiently and communicating issues to leads or supervisorsFollow all company safety, quality, and compliance requirements What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferredExperience in manufacturing, metalworking, machining, grinding, finishing, or a similar hands-on production role preferredAbility to use hand tools, power tools, measuring tools, and shop equipment safelyStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructionsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a production environmentWillingness to learn aerospace repair processes and follow quality standardsBasic computer or data entry skills preferred Nice to Have Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, automotive, industrial repair, or precision manufacturingExperience with grinding, blending, polishing, deburring, or part finishingFamiliarity with blueprints, specifications, routers, or inspection requirementsForklift, crane, or other shop equipment experience, if applicable Work Environment & Physical Requirements Work is performed in a manufacturing/shop-floor environmentRegular use of PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and other required safety equipmentMust be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movementsMust be able to lift, carry, push, or pull materials as required by the roleMay be exposed to noise, dust, heat, chemicals, moving equipment, and other standard manufacturing conditionsMust be able to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times
