Job SummaryWe're looking for a Director, NPI Strategy – Engine Component Repair Services (ECRS) Segments (New Engines) to lead the development and execution of Chromalloy's New Product Introduction (NPI) strategy across Aero, Power Generation, Military, and APU engine platforms. This executive-level role is responsible for identifying growth opportunities, expanding repair capabilities, and driving long-term revenue generation through strategic repair development initiatives. As a key member of the ECRS leadership team, you will partner across Engineering, Business Development, Customer Support, ECOE, MARCOM, and site leadership teams to prioritize NPI investments, develop business cases, and bring innovative repair solutions to market. The successful candidate will serve as a strategic leader who drives portfolio growth while fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization. Location: US Remote (Eastern Time Zone)Travel: Domestic & International travel as required by business needs What You’ll Be Doing Lead the NPI strategy for ECRS Segments, focused on component repair development for Aero, Power Generation, Military, and APU engine platforms.Evaluate Chromalloy's repair portfolio and capabilities to identify gaps, prioritize opportunities, and develop growth strategies for mature, mid-life, and new engine platforms.Build and present business cases for new repair capabilities, salvage programs, and strategic NPI investments.Partner with ECRS sites, ECOE, Business Development, Customer Support, and MARRCOM to prioritize and execute NPI initiatives.Manage and optimize the NPI hopper using yield, inspection, and repair performance data to identify development opportunities.Engage directly with global customers to understand market demand, capability gaps, repair volumes, and emerging growth opportunities.Support OEM and FAA-DER repair development efforts, including qualification and approval activities where required.Drive strategic capability placement and long-term platform development plans across ECRS sites.Monitor key NPI programs, remove barriers to execution, mitigate risks, and ensure delivery against business objectives.Provide executive-level updates and recommendations to senior leadership regarding NPI strategy, portfolio performance, and growth opportunities.Lead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders to align repair development activities with market needs.Coach and mentor engineering teams while promoting Chromalloy's values, people philosophy, and continuous improvement culture.Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, regulatory, quality, and environmental requirements. What We’re Looking For Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in aerospace or industrial gas turbine engineering, including design, manufacturing, repair development, or related technical disciplines.Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives and driving results within a complex matrix organization.Demonstrated success developing business cases, product strategies, and growth initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.Strong customer-facing experience, including technical sales support, executive engagement, and business development collaboration.Knowledge of Aero, Aeroderivative, Heavy Industrial Gas Turbine, Military, and APU engine platforms and associated repair requirements.Working knowledge of FAA, EASA, and other regulatory requirements governing aerospace component repair and NPI activities.Experience supporting OEM approvals, qualification programs, repair development programs, or New Product Introduction (NPI) portfolios preferred.Strong strategic planning, project portfolio management, budget oversight, and risk mitigation capabilities.Exceptional communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and related business tools.Formal leadership development or executive leadership training preferred Leadership Expectations and Values Sets Direction: Aligns people and decisions to Chromalloy’s vision and delivers results through transparency and accountability.
