The Coordinator, Program Outreach and Data Management provides complex administrative and program support for all institutional training grants and educational activities for postdoctoral fellows.
As a successful candidate, you will:
- Assist in the daily administrative functions of managing the Postdoctoral Studies office. Use discretionary initiative and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential details, establishing priorities and resolving problems relating to daily operations and administrative detail of a highly functioning office in the daily administrative functions of managing an effective office.
- Coordinate the Irell and Manella Graduate School (IMGS) and Postdoctoral Studies office alumni tracking, alumni association, alumni surveys, alumni email, alumni event activities and social media.
- Coordinate Irell and Manella Graduate School Masters in Translational Medicine (IMGS-MSTM) student applications, interviews, admissions, classroom reservation, syllabus collection and filing, thesis defense and master’s committee meetings and related activities.
- Coordinate and maintain postdoctoral trainee data for new and ongoing training grant awards and related activities.
- Assist both IMGS and PTO with coordination of events including but not limited to scheduling, rentals, catering, announcement, etc.
Qualifications
Your qualifications should include:
- Bachelor’s degree; 3 additional years of experience plus the minimum experience requirement may substitute for minimum education.
- Three years of related work experience.
