Responsibilities
The Assistant Manager, LLP Solutions Design is responsible for supporting regional Lead Logistics Partner (LLP) business growth by designing commercially viable, scalable, and innovative supply chain solutions aligned with global LLP strategy and design standards.
The role partners with regional and country stakeholders to develop customer-centric solutions for new business opportunities, lead RFx and due diligence activities, facilitate customer workshops, perform network optimization and business case analysis, and provide solution design expertise that strengthens DHL's LLP value proposition and market competitiveness.
- Support LLP business growth by developing competitive, customer-centric solutions and business case proposals for strategic opportunities.
- Translate customer requirements and bid strategies into effective solution designs, cost models, and pricing proposals.
- Develop scalable and innovative solutions that meet customer expectations, assess solution exceptions, and track bid pipeline performance and win rates.
- Ensure all key deliverables, including data analyses, solution designs, and customer proposals, are reviewed, validated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.
- Design and support the implementation of innovative, technology-enabled supply chain solutions, leveraging the latest tools and best practices.
- Support customer-focused supply chain optimization and network improvement initiatives to enhance operational and commercial outcomes.
- Provide post-design support by clarifying solution assumptions, resolving issues, and facilitating successful implementation and transition activities.
- Participate in due diligence activities for new business opportunities, ensuring solution feasibility, accuracy, and operational readiness.
- Identify and develop value creation opportunities across regional LLP accounts and support initiatives that deliver measurable customer and business benefits.
- Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with regional, country, and cross-functional DHL teams to secure alignment, resources, and successful customer outcomes.
- Partner with technology providers and internal stakeholders to develop innovative, market-leading LLP solutions that strengthen DHL's competitive advantage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or Contract Logistics, with at least 5 years in Solution Design, Consulting, or Value Creation.
- Good knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations, including cost modelling, pricing, and business case development.
- Proven experience leading regional or global solution design projects within a matrix organization.
- Knowledge of LLP/4PL solutions and design methodologies is an advantage.
- Demonstrated success in delivering results through cross-functional collaboration.
