PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under general supervision, performs a wide range of office administration duties for assigned functions or program areas, duties may be complex in nature and may involve access to confidential information. May research, investigate, and/or resolve program data or issues. Drafts documentation, reports, or presentations. Represents program or unit, provides information and assistance to internal and external customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise an assigned caseload of inactive status case (i.e., Admin, Contact, ICOTS, Warrants, Upcoming Releases, etc.) that require periodic reviews
  • Assist Court Specialist, or other staff, with Court duties
  • Assist in performing initial intakes for new or transfer in cases for the Circuit
  • Prepare and present Pre-Sentence Investigations for the Court when ordered
  • Assist sworn staff with making video and telephone contacts where appropriate, as well as Face to Face interactions in an office setting
  • Attain and maintain GCIC Certification Assist in other administrative areas where directed by the Chief Community Supervision Officer of the Circuit

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree from an accredited college or university OR Two years of related experience.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university AND must meet the prerequisites and complete the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program certification. Note: Positions require that applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and meet the legal requirements for peace officers as prescribed by the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council (P.O.S.T.).
