General Nature of Work

· Provides outstanding customer service

· Maintains HIPAA standards related to Privacy and Security

· Provides overall management of a county health department's nursing, clinical, and population-based services

· Provides direct clinical services

· Provides programmatic and fiscal oversight, manages budgets, and makes assessments to determine community needs

· Identifies community partners, providers, and agencies to help further public health efforts in the community

· Supervises subordinate clinical and non-clinical staff

Minimum Qualifications

HCP 194: Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of PHN experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license OR Bachelor or Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Three years of nursing experience.

HCP195: Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Two years of supervisory experience at the lower level (HCP 194) or position equivalent AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license OR Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Four years of supervisory/management experience AND current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license OR Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND Five years of supervisory/management experience. (Please mail or bring a copy of College Transcript or Diploma to Interview—must have official transcript prior to start date). Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

· Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing, public health, or related field from an accredited college or university

· Previous employment with any state’s Department of Public Health or a County Board of Health

· Developing and managing budgets

· Managing multiple programs

· Quality Assurance experience

· Managing professional clinical staff
