The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) is currently seeking an Asset/Facilities Analyst– in the Office of Facility and Asset Services.
The Georgia Technology Authority (GTA) currently manages the delivery of IT infrastructure services to 89 Executive Branch agencies and managed network services to more than 1,200 state and local government entities. IT infrastructure services encompass mainframes, servers, service desk, end user computing, disaster recovery and security. Managed network services include the state’s wide and local area networks, voice, cable and wiring, and conferencing services.

JOB SUMMARY:
The Facilities Analyst is responsible for one or more aspects of internal assets, facilities, and safety. Resolves related problems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manages GTA’s non-IT assets through their life cycles, including procurement, tagging assets when needed, tracking, and surplus/asset retirement.
· Maintains and updates the internal asset management inventory system, including tracking asset data and movement. Provides recommendations to prevent and/or correct data inaccuracies.
· Implements internal asset audits. Validates findings.
· Plans and conducts periodic asset audits and inventories for non-IT related supplies and equipment (i.e. GTA Supply Room).
· Assists and supports state auditors during annual audits and provides reports as requested.
· Prepares audit reports and distributes them to appropriate individuals when requested.
· Resolves routine to moderately complex operational problems related to GTA’s facilities.
· Coordinates office supply inventory, access administration, building security, emergency response, employee access cards, and parking for GTA designated locations.
· Handles coordination, communication, and site visit(s) scheduling for necessary various office equipment inventory maintenance and repairs
· Provides information to GTA managers and staff related to the office environment and ergonomics. Recommends changes and makes approved changes to environment. Determines the need for and schedules contracting for building maintenance and renovation.
· Resolves routine to moderately complex to complex operational problems related to GTA’s facilities.
· Plans for and participates in small to office moves, including mass moves that involve changes to the environment. Determines space requirements and drafts office space plans.
· Under close supervision, learn to draft plans for technical locations with detailed power, heating/cooling, space, and data line requirements.
· Coordinates access administration, building security, employee identification cards, and parking for GTA designated locations.
· When necessary, interprets federal guidelines regarding surplus assets funded by federal programs and the reuse of assets.
· Coordinates office supply inventory, access administration, building security, emergency response, employee access cards, and parking for GTA designated locations.
· Adhere to the Department of Administrative Services guidelines /rules regarding surplus assets.
· Utilize various tools such as Resource Scheduler, SharePoint, Zoho Desk, Asset Works, Ghost Guard Security and PeopleSoft Financials in the performance of daily duties.
· Manage the GTA Facilities mailbox, by sorting, categorizing, distributing, and filing incoming emails related to the Facilities and Asset department.
· Performs all other duties as assigned.

AGENCY SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field OR Completion of a two (2) year degree in any major AND two (2) years of experience in one or more of the infrastructure management disciplines (facilities management, asset management) OR Completion of a high school diploma AND four (4) years of experience in one or more of the infrastructure management disciplines (facilities management, asset management).
Note: An equivalent combination of education and job specific experience that provided the knowledge, experience and competencies required to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted on a year-over-year basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
(Preference will be given to candidates who, demonstrate some or all of the following skills/experience):
· State Government facilities planning experience
· Asset Management experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft office (particularly in Excel)
COMPENSATION/WORKER TYPE/ADDITIONAL DETAILS:
Hiring Salary: *$37,000-50,000.00
Worker Type: Hybrid – State of Georgia Remote Work Option
*Current Georgia state government employees will be subject to SPB rule provisions.
