Under limited supervision the Process Improvement Analyst provides direct support of information technology systems and project needs for the division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As directed, identifies, and obtains information to facilitate project implementation using sound decision-making and collaboration.
- Provides analytical assessment of division’s technical/project requirements and coordinates strategic initiatives.
- Conducts project assessments, captures project requirements, provides workflow analysis and validation to include project approval.
- Direct involvement in project life cycle through deployment.
- Supports data validation of PLB systems to ensure accuracy, relevancy and system reflects current needs.
- Plans and tracks changes in WalkMe project workflow.
- Tracks changes to applications for review.
- Assists with documentation requirements for workforce surveys and compact reporting agreements.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting standard operating procedures and ensures training materials are current.
- Supports applicable Legislative changes within assigned area.
- Monitors and evaluates policies, programs, and procedures to ensure project effectiveness.
- Working in conjunction with SOS Purchasing and Procurement, provides input regarding contracts for goods and services within assigned area in accordance with established guidelines.
- Provide and monitor project requirements and costs as directed.
- Drafts project training needs and provides guidance to employees and managers.
- Provides technical assistance in the areas of design, graphics, and production of publications.
- Manages project records.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Three (3) years of direct experience in an information technology business analyst role working with professional level staff. Experience must include sound analytical assessment ability and direct involvement in technical/project requirements to include coordinating strategic initiatives and validation of system data.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited college or university or High school diploma/equivalent and five (5) years of direct involvement in in an information technology Business Analyst role.
