The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified candidates for a full-time Curriculum Program Specialist position within the Office of Technical Education. Under broad supervision, the Curriculum Program Specialist will be responsible for a diverse array of office administration tasks related to assigned functions or program areas. This role involves conducting research, investigating, and resolving issues related to program data. The specialist will also draft various forms of documentation, reports, and presentations. Additionally, the role requires representing the program or unit and providing information and assistance to both internal and external stakeholders, including other government agencies and instructional organizations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
· Coordinate select curriculum review, evaluation and acquisition for the technical colleges
· Coordinate the development and revision of state standards and institutionally developed curriculum
· Review new program requests for select program areas
· Facilitate faculty peer group meetings on a bi-annual basis
· Research academic training resources and materials
· Provide direct support services to college administrators and instructional staff
· Attend professional development training, workshops, seminars and conferences and reads professional literature in related technical fields
· Attend appropriate state accreditation or licensing boards as needed; and
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree *and* Five (5) years of work-related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Master's degree *and* five (5) years’ experience in post-secondary education at a technical or community college
· A minimum of 2 years experience teaching business or personal service technologies at the collegiate level is desired along with course development and evaluation experience
· Experience with the facilitation and administration of professional development programs
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
· Educational leadership as a faculty consortia chairperson, college program coordinator or director, dean or other equivalent position for one (1) year or more
