Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Assistant Registrar (DAP) position in the Enrollment Services division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s South campus, just South of Downtown Atlanta.

Reporting to the Registrar, the full-time Assistant Registrar (DAP) is responsible for handling registration and students records and maintaining the integrity of students’ personal information and academic records. The Assistant Registrar (DAP) will work in conjunction with the Dual Achievement (DAP) & Adult Education teams to serve the Atlanta Technical College community with excellence, integrity, accuracy, and efficiency.

Duties and responsibilities include, but may not be limited to, the following:

· Monitor / assist with the registration process, including reviewing of students’ academic history/records and maintaining the integrity of students’ personal information.

· Support / serve students, faculty, admissions counselors, academic advisors, and other administrators by interpreting and clarifying College (including high school) policies regarding general high school curriculum requirements and any other official information relating to student academic records.

· Process transfer evaluations from a high school perspective, complete and review degree/graduation audits, as well as assist with the coordinating/planning of the annual commencement exercises. Collaborate with instructors on the submission of grade reports (including final grade submissions), No Shows/Non-Attendance, withdrawals, registration/enrollment changes and other requests as needed.

· In partnership with the DAP team, assist with creating the master semester schedule to consolidate curriculum requirements, teacher assignment and student placement.

· Assist with open house, parent/teacher workshops and other community wide high school initiatives.

· Represent the office of the Registrar in its fullest capacity as it relates to student information system training to office personnel; and

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Registrar and/or the Executive Director of the Dual Achievement Preparatory Academy.

· Knowledge of state residency policies for students entering educational establishments.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess and demonstrate an Associate degree AND one (1) year of related work experience; OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND three (3) years of related work experience. Knowledge of FERPA guidelines with the ability to explain them to others

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference may be considered for candidates who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess and demonstrate the following:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher AND four (4) or more years of work experience in a secondary or post-secondary education environment.

· Experience in the use of a Student Information System (preferably BANNER) to successfully deliver registration services and maintain student records.

· Proficient with Microsoft Office (most importantly, Excel) and other computer software/databases.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy is a must.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for working with a diverse population of students, faculty, and staff, and contributing to a culture of inclusion, mutual understanding, and respect.
