The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is seeking qualified applicants to fill two Purchase/Procurement Agent positions.

Based on education and experience, the selectee will be hired as a Purchase/Procurement Agent 1 or Purchase Procurement Agent 2.

The selectee will be responsible for all procurement activities for the Environmental Protection Division or for Wildlife Resources Division and the Law Enforcement Division of the Department, from reviewing all purchase orders to bids and contracts

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

FEP020 – Purchase/Procurement Agent 1 - $39,699.48

Associate degree in Accounting or Business, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university.

OR

Technical diploma in Accounting or Business

AND

One (1) year experience in a procurement environment.

OR

One (1) year of experience at the lower level Procurement Agent Trainee (FEP019) or Procurement Technician (FET112) or equivalent position.

FEP021 – Purchase/Procurement Agent 2 - $42,941.42

Associate degree in Accounting or Business, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university

AND

Two (2) years of job-related experience in a procurement environment.

OR

Technical diploma in Accounting or Business

AND

Three (3) years of job-related experience in a procurement environment.

OR

Two (2) years of experience at the lower-level Procurement Agent 1 (FEP020) or equivalent position.

NOTE: These positions are NOT teleworking positions. After six months on the job, if you meet the teleworking policy requirements, teleworking may be considered for 1 or 2 days per week.

NOTE: The selectee hired to handle to the purchase/procurement responsibilities for the Wildlife Resources Division and Law Enforcement Division will be be hired as a Purchase/Procurement Agent 1 (job code – FEP020).

Associate degree in accounting or business, or a directly related field from an accredited college or university; or Technical diploma in accounting or business and one (1) year job-related experience in a procurement environment; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Procurement Agent Trainee (FEP019) or Procurement Technician (FET112) or equivalent position. Note: Some positions require Georgia Procurement Manual area-specific certification(s).
