View Point Health is a community behavioral health center utilizing a team of psychiatrists, nurses, licensed counselors and social workers, and other professionals to provide services to individuals who need treatment and support to cope with mental illness, substance abuse, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. View Point Health serves uninsured, underinsured, low-income Medicaid, Medicare, war veterans and some private insurance across multiple locations with a full continuum of behavioral health services and support. The services provided by View Point Health contribute to the reduction in homelessness, reduction in crime and subsequent incarcerations, higher graduation rates, lower dropout rates, decreased ER visits and decreased inpatient admissions.

View Point Health is seeking a full-time Certified Peer Support Specialists (CPS &) who can join a team of professionals for an exciting program called Project LIGHT Early Treatment Program (ETP) and provide transitional services to clients throughout Gwinnett, DeKalb, & Fulton counties. Early Treatment Program is a team based, multi-element approach to treating transition age youth and young adults, ages 16-30years old with FEP (First Episode Psychosis). This position will be based out of our Norcross Office. The team of professionals will include a Psychiatrist, Registered Nurse, Employment Specialist, Clinical Team Leader, Case Manager, and Certified Peer Support Specialist(s)

High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of job-related experience providing social or direct care services to groups of special needs individuals in a human service setting; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Client Support Worker 2 (SSS011) or position equivalent.
