POSITION: Adjunct Adult Education Instructor

LOCATION: Carlton Colwell Detention Center, Blairsville

SCHEDULE: Wednesday and Thursday 5:00 – 8:30

APPLICATION DEADLINE: ongoing

Description: This position is responsible for GED preparation/basic skills instruction Wednesday and Thursday evenings and preparation of lesson plans and counseling notes for classroom instruction. This position also requires evaluation of students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives; participates in staff development and staff meetings. Must have strong time management and organization skills, effective written and oral communication, and proficiency in Windows applications (such as Word and Excel), internet, outlook, and job-related software programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in education or teaching related field

· $ 22 per hour/ Not to exceed 9 hours per week/No benefits
