Job Title: Wireless Support Specialist

Pay Grade: K

Workplace: Hybrid- 2 days per week in office

Travel: Yes, roughly 30% travel to DBHDD hospital campuses

Job Summary:

Evaluate the telecommunications needs of all the departments within the organization. Install, operate, and maintain the telecommunication systems, takes care of equipment failure, manage mobility systems and including video systems, office reservation systems and other related communication systems. Takes care of day-to-day user operations, site monitoring, and provide back up support.

Evaluates telecommunications performance and needs, provides recommendations and consults with management and division office of the necessary telecommunication enhancements. Ensure that there is adequate bandwidth for business needs and execute the necessary changes. Works in close collaboration with the network teams to enhance the network infrastructure. Assist with equipment installs and documentation, coordinate with vendors regarding equipment

Recognize issues and take appropriate courses of action. Research and ensure the implementation of new technologies. Provides analytical reporting, provides training and support on telecommunication functionality Reports to a manager and directed in several aspects of the work.

Preferred Qualifications: The position will require basic to highly complex technical support in the following areas. Five (5) years of audio video conference management and support using Webex. Provide endpoint support, assisting users with basic to complex audio video support. Five (5) years of telecommunications experience including switches, routers, Centrex systems, Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), and five (5) years of iOS experience, cellular network operations utilizing Workspace One/Airwatch. Five (5) years of project stakeholder experience will include small to large-scale projects.

Requirements: This will require good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong professional relationships with customers throughout the agency. Maintains a high level of productivity and has excellent organizational skills. Webex Hub Professional training and certifications will be required and must be completed within 60 days after the start date. Travel to agency locations will be required for technical support, equipment installs, and training.

High school diploma/GED and three (3) years of related experience; or one (1) year of experience at the lower level Systems Analyst 1 (ITP020) or position equivalent.
