Preferred Qualifications:
- Ten or more years of experience overseeing professional staff who manage construction and renovation projects and project budgets with a value of $2M or higher.
- Five or more years of experience managing construction or renovation projects from programming, design, construction, to project close-out in a correctional, or industrial environment.
- Five or more years of experience developing a capital plan for a large scale correctional, university, or indusrial environment.
- Sound understanding of state purchasing rules and regulations.

Comments/ Notes:
- This position is based in Forsyth at SOSTC Headquarters and requires a minimum of 50% of the work week in Forsyth, but it could be more. The remainder of the work week is spent in the field on project site visits.
- This position serves as the Senior Manager who manages a team of Project Managers in the Design & Development unit who manage multiple capital improvement projects from inception, design, construction, to completion which includes budget tracking and purchasing responsibilities.
- Occasional overnight travel or long day trips are required.
- Target Salary for the position will be $88,000.00 Annually.
