POSITION: Adjunct Adult Education ESL Instructor

LOCATION: County – White

SCHEDULE: Tuesday and Thursday 11:00 – 2:30 and Tuesday, Thurs and Friday 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm

Description: This position is responsible for teaching English as a Second Language, face to face instruction, and some online instruction. This position includes managing day-to-day operations of the classroom, preparation of lesson plans, counseling notes, and marketing your classroom in your county. This position requires administration of a pre and posttest exam. This position also requires an evaluation of students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives and participates in the annual mandatory 12 hours of annual staff development. Must have strong time organization skills, effective written and oral communication, and proficiency in Windows applications (such as Word and Excel), internet, outlook, and job-related software programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in education or related field

· Experience in teaching English as a Second Language to adults

Preferred Qualifications:

· 1-2 years of related work experience

Salary/Benefits:

· $22 per hour/ Not to exceed 19 hours per week/No benefits
