Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking highly qualified applicants for its Transcript Evaluator / Office Assistant (Part-Time) position in the Registrar’s Office of the Enrollment Services division. This position is located on Atlanta Technical College’s main campus, just south of Atlanta.

Reporting to the Registrar, the Transcript Evaluator / Office Assistant (Part-Time) will assist in supporting the mission and goals of the college and the Enrollment Services office by evaluating incoming college transcripts and assisting with general enrollment services responsibilities. This role is critical to supporting the student admissions process by evaluating incoming college transcripts for both admissions decisions and potential transfer credit. The evaluator ensures that students receive appropriate credit for prior academic work. In addition to transcript review, the evaluator will contribute to a range of enrollment services functions, working closely with staff, faculty and students to maintain the accuracy and integrity of student records. This is a part-time position, up to twenty-nine (29) hours per week.

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Review and evaluate official college transcripts to determine admission eligibility and possible transfer of academic credit.

· Enter evaluation results into the BANNER student information system with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

· Maintain current knowledge of institutional transfer policies, accreditation standards, and state/federal regulations related to transfer credit.

· Support enrollment services functions such as processing incoming transcripts, maintaining student records, answering phones or emails; and

· Perform other duties as assigned by the Registrar.

COMPETENCIES:

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as business correspondence, operating, policy and procedures manuals.

· Ability to perform basic mathematic functions.

· Skill in the operation of computers and job-related software programs.

· Oral and written communication skills.

· Organization and time management skills.

· Skill in interpersonal relations and in dealing with the public.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess and demonstrate a High school diploma or equivalent AND one (1) year of related work experience.

PREFERRED Qualifications:

Must possess and demonstrate all of the following:

· Associates degree AND one (1) or more years of related work experience.

· Six (6) or more months Ellucian BANNER Experience.

· Experience working in a higher education setting or with transcript evaluation is a plus.

· Knowledge of academic policies, transfer credit processes, and accreditation systems is desirable.

· Familiarity with BANNER student information system or similar platforms preferred.

· Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
