The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time HR Data & Compliance Analyst position within the Office of Human Resources. The HR Data and Compliance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of human resources data while supporting compliance with federal, state, and organizational policies. This role serves as a key liaison between HR, IT, and functional departments to maintain HR systems, monitor data quality, and support audits, reporting, and regulatory requirements. The position plays a critical role in advancing data-informed decision-making and ensuring HR operations align with applicable laws and internal standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Monitor HR practices for compliance with Technical College System policies, Georgia State Personnel Board Rules, and applicable federal laws (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, Title VII, EEO).
· Support preparation and submission of required reports (e.g., EEO-1, audits, state reporting)
· Maintain documentation to support compliance reviews and internal/external audits
· Maintain and monitor employee data within the HRIS (e.g., GA@WORK), ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency
· Generate standard and ad hoc HR reports (e.g., headcount, turnover, workforce demographics)
· Conduct regular data audits and reconciliations; identify and resolve discrepancies
· Lead and conduct internal HR compliance audits
· Develop corrective action plans and monitor implementation of audit findings
· Maintain audit documentation and compliance tracking systems
· Collaborate with HR staff across technical colleges to ensure consistent application of ADA, FLSA, and FMLA processes and related compliance requirements
· Provide guidance to HR staff and supervisors on compliance-related matters
· Other duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associate degree *and* Three (3) years of work-related experience; Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Demonstrated proficiency working with MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
· Experience working within the State of Georgia government
· Experience with the Workday ERP
· Knowledge of TCSG policies and procedures
· Knowledge of Federal and State laws and regulations
· Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORK CONDITIONS
· Work is primarily performed in an office environment during standard business hours. Limited remote work may be available in accordance with agency policy and operational needs.
· Work performance involves light physical duties, including intermittent sitting, standing, and walking.
· Employees must be able to lift up to ten (10) pounds
