Staff Accountant - NAIP
Job Description
The Corporate Staff Accountant, reports to the Asst. Controller and will be a key member of the Accounting team and work in collaboration with the Mauser accounting team and finance team. Candidate must be a self-starter, adept at communicating with multiple levels of an organization, and have the ability to build trust, influence, and work with teams cross functionally.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare timely and accurate journal entries during month end close
- Prepare and be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations
- Work with multiple teams on intercompany related transactions
- Assist with external audit needs
- Coordinate with off-shore resources
- Ad-hoc analytics
- Work on projects as needed
- Liaise with tax department on audits and projects
- Build and develop relationships with key stakeholders across the company
Requirements
- Accounting degree
- 2-3 years of accounting experience, including month end close including consolidations, BS & PL Analytics; Big 4 a plus
- Comfortable working in a Fast-Paced Environment
- Team player is a must with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Large ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics SL a plus)
- Strong Excel skills a must
- Strong attention to detail
