Tax Accounting Senior Manager

Our tax team is seeking a highly skilled Tax Accounting Senior Manager. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate tax accounting under ASC 740 and supporting tax compliance, forecasting, and planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise and strong data analysis, leadership, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the global tax provision under ASC 740, including coordination and review of non-US data, FIN 48 analysis, tax account reconciliation and financial statement disclosures, documentation of tax positions, and working with external audit firm
• Partner with the tax team and other stakeholders to prepare tax forecasting and other management reporting for business support
• Support the income tax compliance process by providing technical expertise, review of tax filings, and preparation of provision to return analysis and deferred tax proofs
• Partner with other departments as necessary to ensure accurate tax reporting of proposed and completed transactions
• Monitor legislative and regulatory changes affecting the business and provide communications to stakeholders and updates to systems and processes as needed
• Identify and implement improvements to processes, workpapers, and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred
• Eight plus years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments; manufacturing experience a plus
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 including tax provision for a global enterprise
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision a plus
• Experience with various ERP systems a plus
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and reconciliation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
