Shipping & Receiving Clerk-2nd Shift

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Mauser, you will handle specific shipping & receiving functions related to certain administrative, clerical, and other ad hoc needs to maintain the efficiency of a fast-paced logistics operation. The bulk of these duties surpass what cannot reasonably be handled by the Logistics Manager or the Warehouse Supervisor. The incumbent provides direct involvement in actual receipts of goods into SAP, material movements from warehouse to warehouse for inventory control, along with responsibility for the shipment of parcel items. This position will provide various backup duties to help facilitate an autonomous backup system within the logistics department.
As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, your responsibilities include:
• Enters timely receipts in SAP of raw materials and other MROs as needed
• Receives resin and manages daily resin flow of documents
• Creates load-picking packets and complies customer code stickers as needed
• Files BOLs, and other shipping documents
• Prepares BOLs, customs paperwork, and other shipping documents as needed
• Organizes and maintains dock appointments for the logistics of in and out-bound shipments
• Point person for coordinating all next-day and parcel-type shipments out of the plant
• Point person for SAP inventory movements from storage locations
• Distributes and organizes production control documents for scheduling purposes
• Procurement of any needed warehouse/shipping supplies (e.g. seals, load securing devices, other department needs or wants)
• Will be cross-trained for plant scheduling and cycle counting
• Will assist with product placement direction for finished goods in our warehouse
• Provides back-up support for other logistic positions in the department when individuals are out of the office
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk include:
Education and/or Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• Computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite
• SAP experience is preferred
• 1 to 2 years of shipping & receiving experience
• Manufacturing experience a plus
• Attention to details
• Team player
• Problem-solving
• Organizational skills / experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and set priorities
• Ability to work under pressure with short deadlines
• Excellent follow-through skills
