Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, PRN

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Functions under the direct supervision of the occupational therapist responsible for a specific patient care. The certified occupational therapist assistant assumes responsibility and accountability for providing occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by an occupational therapist. Responsible for the care of patients treated by rehabilitation technicians, students, and observers. Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

Required Hours: variable days and rotating weekends 8am-4:30pm

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associates degree from an approved Occupational Therapist Assistant Program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
None.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current licensure in the State of Georgia. BLS certification through AHA.
