Lead Exercise Physiologist- Cardiac Rehab

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Fitness Forum that includes staffing, methods of patient care delivery and current practices in caring for Cardiac Rehab participants

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in an allied health field such as exercise physiology

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year of professional experience working within the medical fitness field

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Certification for an exercise specialist by the American College of Sports Medicine, Advanced Specialty in Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation of the American Physical Therapy Association, or the American Nurses Association Specialty certification in Cardiac Rehabilitation certification.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Maintains current ACLS and BLS certification. Experience in the coordination of staff and delivery of cardiovascular rehabilitation services to patients.
