Tech Student - Cath Lab, PRN

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Under the general supervision of the C VIS Manager, assists physicians with scrub duties during routine diagnostic cardiac cath procedures, elective and emergency cardiac interventions and special cardiac procedures. Assists and supports in patient preparation, post-procedure care and transportation of patients

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Must be successfully performing Cath Lab duties and demonstrate competency in scrub role. Must have completed one full year CVT training in accredited program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Must have a minimum of one year clinical experience in a Cath Lab setting through an accredited CVT program. Must demonstrate above average skills during scrub rotation as evidenced by successful completion of scrub portion of clinical competency for cath techs.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Must acquire certification within orientation period and maintain
