Stroke Program Manager

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

Leads programmatic initiatives for the stroke sub-service line and ensures compliance with DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center certification standards. Serves as the point of contact for stroke care at the local hospital and represents the sub-service line at system-level stroke committee meetings. Collaborates with the Stroke Committee Chairperson (Medical Director), Program Navigator, and other key stakeholders to manage patient care at the local hospital. The role functions as a clinician, educator, consultant, and researcher, with a focus on delivering high-quality, evidence-based care.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nursing program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care OR Associate's degree and five (5) years of recent and relevant clinical experience related to stroke care required.
Experience with data analysis and research required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License required.
NIHSS certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's degree preferred.
Advanced certification in Neuroscience nursing (CNRN) or Stroke Certified Registered Nurse (SCRN) preferred.
