Care Manager- Emergency Dept

The hours for this position is 8:30am-5pm

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Emergency Department (ED) Care Manager is responsible for ensuring appropriate admissions / dispositions, status assignments and developing plans to address high risk patients and management of potential readmissions in the ED.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Graduate of a Nursing program

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of experience in an acute or post-acute setting

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Current unrestricted registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia, required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification in Case or Care Management; experience using InterQual or Milliman. Master's degree preferred.
