Phlebotomist, Nights

Description:

Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital

Available shifts:

10pm - 0630am, 5/8hour shifts, 40hrs/week. Phlebotomy only. The days are every: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, & Sunday

11:30pm- 8:00am Thursday - Monday or Wednesday - Sunday

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs venipunctures, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Entry Level

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
One (1) year of experience as a phlebotomist preferred
Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency is preferred.
Basic knowledge of venipuncture/phlebotomy is preferred.
Experience working in a hospital preferred.
