Vascular Sonographer, Interventional Procedures Outpatient Cardiology

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs physical exams for evidence of peripheral vascular disease. Performs noninvasive testing for evidence of peripheral vascular disease including but not limited to arterial, venous, abdominal, visceral, intracranial and extracranial cerebral vascular disease and prepares preliminary interpretation of test results.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Registered as a Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Vascular Sonographer (RVS)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
3 years of progressive work experience in vascular services.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
Certificate of Completion from an accredited Ultrasound Program
