Mgr Diagnostic Img Engineer

Description:

JOB PURPOSE:
Manages all Diagnostic Imaging technicians, functions and activities within the assigned Piedmont Healthcare facility or facilities, including personnel management, regulatory compliance, customer service, and budget control. Ensures Diagnostic Imaging clinical equipment is repaired and maintained in the most cost effective manner and that it is accurate for clinical diagnosis. Responsible for EOC committee reports, surveys and inspections from regulatory agencies. Assists with aligning standard processes across the Piedmont Healthcare system.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems or related field or eight years of experience within the field of Biomedical Engineering.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of experience required within the field as a Biomedical Engineering Technician and a minimum of three (3) years working within the specialty of Diagnostic Imaging.
