Bed Control Rep, PRN

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Bed Control Representative is in charge of bed assignments. This complex responsibility involves the coordination of multiple resources in a limited time environment. At times, the Bed Control Representative must also assess patients to obtain the most appropriate immediate care. Successful performance in this function significantly impacts patient care (appropriateness of placement) and patient satisfaction (promptness, choice of placement) at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school diploma or GED

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
2 years prior hospital and/or medical office experience.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None
