Social Worker (MSW), Sixty Plus Program

Description:

This is a remote position supporting the Atlanta area

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Sixty Plus Social Worker strives to promote client and caregiver wellness of the older adult population by working to improve care outcomes, assisting with access to appropriate resources, developing and supporting care plans and goals for clients with complex and psychosocial needs, and assisting older adults to age

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Master's degree from an accredited social work program (MSW)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two years of experience working with older adult population, including experience with dementia clients.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
LCSW strongly preferred. Experience in community presentations, hosting workshops, caregiver stress, knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid
