Centralized Scheduler - Outpatient Cardiology

Description:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Scheduling, pre-registration and insurance verification of all centralized scheduling services/procedures. Maintaining overall knowledge of the Patient Registration system in order to answer patient inquiries about insurance billing/payment and self-pay liability.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or equivalent.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two (2) years of previous healthcare or related customer service experience required.
In lieu of experience, a bachelor's degree can be substituted.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Healthcare experience in an outpatient setting or physicians office preferred.
