Description:

Volunteer Services Coordinator, FT, Piedmont Columbus Midtown

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
The Volunteer Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination, administration, operation, and evaluation of Volunteer Services programs, under the direct supervision of the Director. Is responsible for
the day to day operations of Volunteer Services. Responsible for recruiting, hiring, placing, training and evaluating volunteers. Ensures adequate volunteer coverage for events as requested. Coordinates volunteer project requests, volunteer/recognition events, and administers volunteer management software database. Assists and supports the orientation and exit process of volunteers. Coordinates the Youth Volunteer and College Volunteer/internship Programs. Interact with community agencies to identify volunteer opportunities. Assist the Retail sales department with merchandising, planning and coordinating special sales events. Coordinates purchasing, receiving and pricing of merchandise. Ensures accuracy of invoices and processes payments.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Associate's Degree in public relations, marketing, human resources, or related field is required
Bachelor's degree in public relations, marketing, human resources or related field is preferred

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Two to four years' experience in public relations, marketing, human resources, retail sales or related field

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
