Imaging Partner/Transporter

Overview:

This position assists imaging techs with transporting patients to and from Radiology department, and assisting the imaging techs with tasks. It is full-time, days, 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE: Providing technical and clerical assistance in imaging to include: patient flow activities, patient screening, assisting patients, maintaining supply, and assisting technologists as needed. Ensures that established protocols and techniques appropriate to age specific needs are utilized for adult and geriatric population.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High school graduate or equivalent

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
6 months of experience in healthcare setting.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
N/A

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BLS certification required
Certification from a Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician program preferred
One year of patient care experience preferred
