Patient Transporter - Days

Overview:

This position is full-time days, 5 eight-hour shifts at 40 hours per week, requiring rotations of every other weekend. Please be aware that this position requires physical stamina, walking and standing for most of the shift, and requires attention to deadlines, speed, and accuracy, while also providing friendly customer-focused treatment of patients.

Responsibilities:

Ensuring that patients are transferred throughout the hospital campus in a safe and timely manner that maximizes patient flow. Employee will use an electronic device to track pick up location and be required to complete a pick up or drop off in a specific time frame.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Preferred

Work Experience

• Healthcare or Customer Service experience is strongly desired

Licenses and Certifications

• HeartSaver CPR AED or BLS training Upon Hire Required
