Billing Representative

Responsibilities: Generating, reviewing and transmitting claims for hospital-based services to third-party payors. Collaborating across Revenue Cycle departments to ensure billing edits and other up-front billing-related issues are resolved completely and efficiently. The Billing Representative reports to the Manager of Hospital Billing.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or GED.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
One (1) year of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
At least two (2) years of previous related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience, preferably with a focus in billing. Prior Epic experience preferred.
