*This is a remote position, but requires the candidate to live in the state of Georgia*

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE: Processes and monitors the physician appointment and reappointment process for Piedmont Clinic. Applications are processed in accordance with Piedmont Clinic Bylaws, Rules and Regulations, applicable policies, accreditation standards, and state and federal law.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School Graduate or equivalent required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five years experience in a healthcare credentialing or clerical role with a working knowledge of medical staff function within the organization.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Symplr software knowledge preferred.
Certified Provider Credentialing Assistant (CPCS) certification is preferred.
