Transplant Coordinator - Call Team
Overview: Receives, evaluates, and summarizes cadaver organ donor information for recipients from UNOS and LifeLink of Georgia. Assists the physicians/surgeons in the allocation of available cadaver organs for transplant patients. Transplant activation for liver, kidney, and pancreas. Is responsible for 72 hours (24 or more hours consecutively) for organ offer and transplant activation. Available for primary call back up. Special projects at the direction of administration as needed involving UNOS and or recipient data. Call team to cover 6 days (3) 24 hours each per week of 24 hour call for UNOS organ offers and liver, kidney and pancreas transplant activation. - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required
- 4 years of nursing experience Required
- 2 years of critical care/procurement experience Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
