Clinical Manager - Surgical Services, Evenings

Overview:

Location: Piedmont Fayette Hospital

Shift: Evenings; 12:00pm - 8:30pm

Status: Full-time

Department: Operating Room

Responsibilities:

The Evening Manager oversees perioperative operations during afternoon and evening hours, ensuring safe staffing, efficient patient flow, and readiness of equipment and supplies to reduce delays, PACU boarding, and overtime. This role provides administrative and operational leadership across assigned departments, including finance, staffing, quality outcomes, and patient, physician, and staff satisfaction. As part of the management and shared governance teams, the manager supports the organizations mission and person-centered care model, develops future nursing leaders through succession planning, and may provide direct clinical care as needed for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Qualifications:

Education

• Graduate of a nursing program Required
• Bachelors Degree Preferred

Work Experience

• 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital (inpatient roles) or clinical (outpatient roles) setting, including at least one (1) year of relevant leadership experience required
• Previous operating room experience required
• Previous leadership or charge nurse experience in surgical services.
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for Required

Licenses and Certifications

• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse Required

Additional Licenses and Certifications

• BLS certification Required
