Sr. HVAC Mechanic
Overview: Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and systems. Maintain the safe operation of highly complex systems and equipment. Specific systems may include: electronic/pneumatic environmental controls, fan powered boxes and auxiliary equipment (various pumps, heat exchangers, air compressors, etc.) ,chiller operations, BAS controls, pump operations, water treatment program, air handler units, VAV's, walk-in coolers and freezers, refrigerators, ice machines and boiler operations. Qualifications: Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Graduate of Vocational School Preferred
- 5 years of experience as an HVAC Tech Required
- 2 years For systems that include BAS controls, experience must include of commercial/healthcare HVAC/HVAC BAS experience or graduation from a BAS program Required
- Conditioned Air Georgia State license (Non-Restricted, or Restricted) Required
- EPA-Universal Certification Required
