Clinical Manager - Respiratory
Overview: Leads and manages the provision of respiratory services in ambulatory pulmonology setting. Directs, monitors and manages all day-to-day operations of the departments, including staffing, scheduling, workload prioritization, cost management, and equipment utilization / maintenance. Creates an efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment with staff and with physicians. Is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality are followed and maintained. Education
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Required
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Respiratory care preferred.
Work Experience
- 2 years of progressive leadership experience in Respiratory Care Required
- 3 years with two (2) years of experience recent clinical experience in area of clinical responsibility. Required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, clinical decision-making skills, and presentations.
Licenses and Certifications
- RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); has and maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
- ACLS Required
- PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
