Patient Care Tech - Medsurg, Nights

Overview:

Patient Tech role supporting Med Surg Unit at Piedmont Henry Hospital. 312-hour shifts, 6P - 6A. Requires weekday and weekend availability

Responsibilities: The Patient Care Tech, under the supervision of licensed clinical staff, provides care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Qualifications: Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• No experience required
• 1 year of patient care experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
• CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant Preferred
• Certification from a Patient Care Technician program Preferred
