On-Call Chaplain, PRN

Overview: Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community. Responsibilities: Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community. Major Tasks and Responsibilities: 1. Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families and visitors, hospital staff and community. 2. Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members. 3. Conducts worship services. Qualifications: Education

• Masters degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field Required

Work Experience

• 2 years of pastoral experience for on call Required
• 4 years of Clinical Pastoral Education Required
• Eccelsiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination Required
• Ordination Preferred
• Previous hospital experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Certification or certification eligible by pastoral care organization Preferred
