LVAD Coordinator
Overview: Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the left ventricular assist device (LVAD) program and the heart transplant program; to coordinate and manage the patient care of this high-risk patient population throughout the continuum. Responsibilities: Participates in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the left ventricular assist device (LVAD) program and the heart transplant program; to coordinate and manage the patient care of this high-risk patient population throughout the continuum. Qualifications: Education
- Graduate from a nursing program Required
- 2 years of professional clinical experience Required
- Cardiovascular focus experience Preferred
- 1 year experience caring for LVAD patients and heart transplant patients Preferred
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure Required
- ACLS Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Required
