Imaging jobs at Piedmont Henry offer the opportunity for you to work inastate-of-the-arthospital featuring theverybestequipment, great staff, flexible scheduling,anda great workenvironment. OurImagingdepartment hastheir own transporters and patient lift equipment to help move patients for imaging exams.We have8, 10 and 12hourshiftsas well as weekendoptionpay.Our department includes X-ray Techs, CT Techs, MRI Techs, Ultrasound Techs, Mammography Techs, Interventional Radiology Techs, OR X-ray Techs, Unit Secretaries, Transporters, RNs, PAs, and Radiologist.

We are a259-bedhospital, a level III trauma center, a level III neonatal intensive careunitand stroke certified. OurEmergencyroom sees about100,000 patientsa year.

Our Imaging department consist of the following:

X-ray 3 Routine Rooms & 2FluoroRooms (86,000 exams per year)

CT 4 CTSiemensrooms (72,000 exams per year)

MRI` 2 MRI units (1.5T Siemens & 3T GE) (10,000 exams per year)

Ultrasound 3SiemensRooms (21,000 exams per year)

Breast Health Center 4HologicDiag/Screening Rooms & 1 DEXA (23,000 per year)

IR 1GERoom (2,500examsper year)

Outpatient DiagnosticCenter CT,MRI, Mammography & X-ray(11,000 exams per year)

Surgery (OR) 5 GE OEC C-Arms

CSU Pre and Post unit for patients receiving moderate sedation

Responsibilities: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Qualifications: Education

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
Work Experience
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
