Responsibilities:
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Commitment to patient-centered, timely, and efficient care delivery
- Demonstrated ability to function independently and collaboratively as a CRNA in an OB anesthesia setting
- Strong clinical skills in obstetric anesthesia, including labor analgesia and cesarean delivery anesthesia
- Proficiency with neuraxial placements is ideal
- Ability to operate, interpret, and troubleshoot anesthesia and monitoring equipment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams
- Ability to provide care appropriate to obstetric patient populations across varying acuity levels
- Knowledge of maternal physiology, fetal considerations, and principles of growth and development
- Knowledge of infection prevention, safety, and quality standards
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA):
Graduation from a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (or its predecessor)
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
For CRNAs:
Current Georgia CRNA license (or eligible and willing to obtain Georgia licensure)
Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
