Lead Patient Transporter, Days

Overview:

Piedmont Rockdale is a 161-bed, acute care, not-for-profit community hospital in Conyers that has provided compassionate, patient-centered care to Rockdale County and surrounding communities since 1954. We offer 24-hour emergency care, plus most major medical, surgical and diagnostic services.

Responsibilities: Acts as a shift lead and resource for Patient Transport staff in ensuring that patients are transferred throughout the campus in a safe and timely manner that maximizes patient flow. Qualifications: Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

Work Experience

• 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting Required
• 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• HeartSaver CPR AED or BLS training Upon Hire Required
